Surprise!

Yes, there is a surprise nestled in one of the empty oyster shells...a real pearl.  This is always a favorite subject here in Wellfleet where the oysters are prized world wide for their delicate taste.  I like to paint the plates empty with crushed lemons catching the light.  It is a difficult assignment but one that has proven very popular.  This comes framed and is ready to present.
